Cape Henlopen 

 

Cape Cod is my first love.  But it is a 10 hour drive from my house.  Feeling the need to see the ocean and feel the sand on my feet, I took a day trip to Lewes, DE where Cape Henlopen's beach abuts the water.  It has a very different gestalt.  Sticks and beach grass with a few shells are prevalent, rather than stones.
