These drawings are from 2013 and are inspired by summer vacations on Cape Cod.  I took photographs of the beach and landscape, and collected numerous stones.  The drawings reflect multilayered colors, movements, rhythms, and balances both within the environment and within myself.  The horizon line is an important marker in my work, providing the space with a sense of stability and creating distinctive areas of color and motion which are sometimes violated.
